Bargain Box The Bargain Box is an outreach ministry of the United Methodist Women at First UMC Tavares. A large team of volunteers works very hard to turn items you no longer need into treasures for someone who does. The Bargain Box is located at the Northeast corner of the church campus, next to the Activity Center Building. Hours of Operation: Thursday: 9:00 - 1:00 Friday: 9:00 - 1:00 Saturday: 9:00 - 1:00 (The schedule is subject to change during holiday weekends. The Bargain Box will be closed in July 2010 and reopen in August 2010.) If you would like to bring your gently used treasures for donation, they may be delivered during regular business hours. If you have large items, however, such as furniture, please call the church office ahead of time so that any appropriate arrangements may be made. Thank you!! If you'd like to spend a few hours once a week or even once a month with some neat folks, sharing in a great work, volunteers are always welcome. Please note that the Bargain Box will be closed during the month of July. Thank you. |
