"Life as an Apprentice"

Hi Folks,

Welcome to our 10-part study on being a Disciple or “Life as an Apprentice of Jesus.” As we prayerfully seek a new denominational affiliation, we are in a unique and necessary time to newly define who we are and what we are about. No matter the details, our future as a vital church depends on our going deep and with passion into lives as apprentices of Jesus. If you and I will give our lives to this, the rest of the details will be just that, details.

This really matters to your relationship to God. We are warned in Hebrews 2:1-3, “We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.” Speaking to you from my heart and from Hebrews 6:9, “even though I speak like this, dear friends, I am convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation.”
