It's All About God's Children is Coming Children and Family Ministries and The Children's Enrichment Center are joining again this Christmas season for a wonderful opportunity in which our church family can participate. The Children's Advocacy Center, the United Methodist Children's Home, Homeless Children in Lake County, and the Alan Madden Foundation are the ministries that work with children in this area. They have given us a list of needs that I hope we can help fill for all God's children at Christmas. Last year we had wonderful gift giving to each organization because our church is so generous. We hope this year will be no different. You will be able to give gently used as well as new to each organization along with gift cards and unwrapped gifts. This event will end at Christmas but the gift buying begins now so you will have plenty of time to gather your donations and put them under the tree. All the gifts will be held until Dec. 6th and then given to each organization. We realize there are only 77 days until December 6th but the school supplies are on sale now and there will be lots of sales between now and that date that we do not want you to miss. We also know this year will be very different than any other year since we will probably continue to be under social distancing and mask wearing, but the best part of this year is that gift cards will be great gifts and you can purchase them in the grocery store. Please remember to do your shopping now. I have included the list from each organization so you can purchase or collect from your home or order on line now. Let's make this a great year since our children have been confined to homes and computers they need a special time this year to see how much Christ loves the children.
